Yesterday, I missed the sunset over Grand Anse beach in Grenada due to an ill-timed nap. Today, I wasn't going to let that happen so I made sure I was in a prime spot by 5:30pm. As you can see, I made it this time and watched the fiery ball drop behind a small hill. Due to the island's proximity to the equator, the sun sets very quickly. Forget leisurely sipping a tall tropical drink while you watch the sun go down, although you may be able to chug a bottle of Carib. Although it's brief, the sunset is still spectacular. The sun seems so close you that you feel like you could reach out and touch it before it sinks into the horizon.

So lovely! Glad you weren't here in NY to wake up today to 30-degree temps!

Absolutely gorgeous. Waterfall and sunsets are my favorite subjects for photos and you've captured a perfect one!
