I'm so glad you finally had a good dining experience in Italy. It would have been a shame if you'd missed out on some of the fabulous offerings. It is difficult to know where to go (especially when you are tired and hungry!), so I'm thrilled I was able to help!! Enjoy the rest of your trip, and I look forward to more posts!

This comment is about your blog, not this particular post, but I just wanted to say that I really like the way your posts are written. I especially like that you give historical information, because for me that defines a place at least as much as (and perhaps more than) its geography, culture, etc.

I am stumbling this for future reference!

what fun! i will keep your recommendations in mind for the next time we're in florence. isn't it great that the internet is around and we can find the cool places? thanks!

Wow, learn something new about your home town every day. I have not tried Il Santo Bevitore but the photos on the website make it look quite modern. Yay! Il Latini has gone way downhill since 10 years ago. I'm relieved that you had a positive eating experience in Florence!

That really looks like a good time. I'll haveto make a trip to Florence as soon as the kids go to college so I can check it out. Thanks for sharing.
